I watched the Saddleback event last night and was concerned that Obama would make McCain look like a dottering old man. Wow, was I wrong. McCain blew Obama away! I watched from my couch and had to sit up while McCain was answering the questions because I was getting fired up and excited.
The Missoulian ran an editorial by Eric Mink of the St. Louis Dispatch today, 8/8/08, section B5, titled «McCain, Obama avoid honest energy solutions». It is unavailable on their web site so I found it and linked to it at the St. Louis Dispatch site.
I want to thank the House GOP for keeping the pressure on Pelosi and the Democrats by keeping their Guerrilla Congress in session! Keep up the good work and don't give up until there's a vote on the Energy Bill. And thank you, Denny, for returning to Washington to participate.
