The Hammond Report

• I admit, I have a secret crush on the Republican VP Candidate, Sarah Palin.  From what I know about her, she seems to be quite a woman.  Nice job John!
• What I like about Palin and her husband is she could easily my neighbor and freind.  My wife and family can really relate to her.  Born in Idaho, lives in Alaska, educated at the University of Idaho, hunts, fishes, five kids, snow machines, my age, pro life, drill for oil, etc.
• It cracks me up that the Obama campaign is questioning her experience.  She's got more then him!
• The MSM and some Libs seem pretty excited that Hurricane Gustav will hit New Orleans next week just as the RNC starts.  Unfortunately for them (MSM and some Libs),  Louisiana has a competent governor this time - Bobby Jindal (R).
• With my new job, I'll have a much better insight into the mining industry and will try to share what I learn in The Hammond Report.
• Thanks for the nice comments on my New Job post.  I'm excited and having a great time with my new adventure!

• I hate to point it out once more, well not really, but the «anomaly» of the Surge seems to be continuing. Uh, Colby...
• Obama plays the race card even when with no race mentioned. Here's the ad.  Nice job McCain campaign!
• Have you heard about John Edwards, former Democrat VP candidate and possible Obama VP?  Seems like he's having an affair. Isn't his wife fighting terminal cancer right now?  He's a class act.

• Obama shows his support of our troops by blowing them off when he found out he couldn't use the event as a photo op.  He claims it would seem too political if he visited them. Nice try, nice lie.
• Obama should be 20 to 30 points ahead in polling with the way the MSM is treating him and the horrible campaign McCain is running.  Dems should be concerned.
• Obama bashes America again.  Inspiring.
• The Democrat Led House, issues a formal apology to blacks for slavery.  Didn't we fight a war over this over a hundred years ago?  Isn't that apology enough?
• Weird how gas prices are dropping now that supply is exceeding demand.  That darn free market.
• The Montana Democrats are going after the 18-20 year old vote by supporting legislation to lower the drinking age to 18.  I agree the drinking age should be 18.  Republicans should have thought of this first!
• I love the Missoula Bicycle Ambassadors out there educating the public.  Keep up the good work!
• LA bans fast food outlets because the poor are getting too fat.  Huh??!!
• Good for the Governor for supporting the oil pipline that will run through the state.
• Has anybody tried the new search engine, cuil?  I've tried it but don't like it so far.  Google still works best for me.
