The Missoulian ran a front page story extolling the benefits of a new Missoula grocery community Co-Op. The primary reason behind the Co-Op is to combat high food prices due to the majority of a conventional grocery store's expenses being in labor and payroll.
President Bush is on a roll! After his comments in Israel the other day on the folly of appeasement and now his comments in Egypt about how to solve the current oil problems.
In the spirit of helping out a fellow Montana blogger, I encourage you to visit a newish lefty blog, The Button Valley Bugle. I discovered them when they called me «a second string blogger from Missoula» in their post criticizing Operation Chaos - Montana Division.

Obama, being the Liberal he is, is adamantly opposed the the gas tax holiday McCain has proposed. I calculated that the savings to me over the summer would be a free tank of gas. I'm OK with that. Any little bit helps.
I read this Missoulian article yesterday and was struck by a couple of things. First was this which seems to be a recipe for voting more then once in the primary (emphasis mine):
Those «brave» protesters that stormed President Dennison's office to conduct a sit-in while he was away in China might get suspended for their actions. I called them cowards at the time and it seems I was accurate because now they are complaining they might have to pay a stiff penalty. They ran to their friends at LITW, Intelligent Discontent and 4 & 20 for help. Being a martyr is tough sometimes.
I am officially opening up the Montana Division of Operation Chaos. It's the creation of Rush Limbaugh to create chaos in the Democratic Primaries. The ultimate objective of Operation Chaos is for our side, the Republicans, to win as Rush said in his broadcast yesterday.
After reading this about nine protesters at the UM yesterday conducting a sit-in in President George Dennison's office demanding the U adopt an anti sweatshop labor program, I came to the conclusion that these folks were a bunch of phonies and cowardly.
