I'm just a regular, simple and uncomplicated guy, just look at the title of my blog, with simple, common sense ideas.

I'm a fourth generation Montanan who went out to conquer the world but realized what was important and returned to the Big Skies of Montana to raise my family. I'll conquer the world when this most important task is complete!

This blog is my way of expressing my thoughts and ideas concerning my world view and politics. It helps me vent the frustrations I have with Liberals and Democrats. I like to read and listen to all points of view but am admittedly entrenched in my ways and rarely change my position.

I'm not an elegant writer and consider my ability rough and unsophisticated. I hope that by blogging, I can become a much better writer and improve my ability to express myself.

I'm a little «slow footed» when debating, arguing, or responding to comments. I have learned it's best to think and reflect on a response particularly when things get heated.

Sometimes I feel ornery and will «drop a bomb» either in a post or by leaving a comment on a liberal blog just to stir things up.

My views and beliefs are shaped from a lifetime of experiences through my growing up in the 1970's and 1980's and building my family and career throughout the 1990's and 2000's. I have evolved from being liberal-leaning to the Conservative I am today.
