New Job
I've had a very busy summer this year. I found myself in a career and job that was not longer paying the bills especially with energy prices rising so quickly. On top of that, my kids are getting older and their activities are costing me more and more, especially my kid in college! So rather than whine about my plight and the way the economy is affecting me and my family, I sought out and recently started a new job. It's a significant career change for me and will keep me very busy as I learn my way around.
I am entering the energy industry! I'm very excited because it's an industry that is growing quickly and looks to keep growing. So I think I'm getting in at the right time. I'll be out of town quite a bit but I'll try to keep working on my blog when I can. I haven't had a lot of time this summer because I was working my full time job as well as working full time finding another job that would significantly increase my compensation and offer better benefits. I found that job, switched careers and am very excited.

Hopefully I won't blast your new profession with another one of my tacky posts. If I do, set me straight.

I'm shocked, I tell you - shocked and amazed. You didn't feel the need to blame President Bush or spend your summer whining about how unfair the economy is?
In these difficult times - the horrible recession, with all those people loosing their homes - you didn't just throw up your hands and wait for the Anointed One to descend from Mount Olympus to deliver you from high gas prices and global warming?
What a guy! You are the epitome of what is right in America where we have the freedom and opportunity to make our lives whatever we are willing to work and sacrifice for.
Congratulations to you and to your family and best wishes for a great future.
