Obama's Brilliance on Display
Leading Democrat contender for President of the United States, B. H. Obama, said the following in a Memorial Day speech in La Cruces, New Mexico.
On this Memorial Day, as our nation honors its unbroken line of fallen heroes -- and I see many of them in the audience here today -- our sense of patriotism is particularly strong.
We all know Memorial Day is the day we honor those who gave their lives while serving their country. A leading Presidential candidate should know this.
Maybe he has a Messiah Complex and thinks he can see dead people.

Like other people or politicians have never said something odd. Hmmm lets see. «is our children educated» GW or «I have never inhaled» BC or «somebody aimed a gun at him and he dove for the floor» MH or «we arrived under fire» HC or I could go on and on. Pick and choose as you may Andy, but the list of stupid statements made by politicians goes far and wide.

Yeah it is to honor the fallen, but I think he means that such a honor extends to those serving today; we know what price many of them will probably ultimately pay, and we honor them as well for the sacrifices they are making.

What branch of the millitary did you serve in, Andy?

…And then Barry Hussein saw his great uncle in the Red Army liberating prisoners at Auschwitz!
6 months and 3 days ago
To Anonymous in Bozeman,
Easy mistake since there were several being liberated in the same time period. Ever heard of Prescott Bush? At least Barry wasn't doing that. Look it up. Georgies grandfather worked for and made money right along side the Nazi's!
6 months and 3 days ago
Easy mistake, eh? Girl, you're living in a dream. You're trying to defend a moron who thinks there are 57 states in the US….
6 months and 3 days ago
Tina, work your way through this list of Barry Hussein jive. Then you can add Auschwitz to the end. Face it. You either have a world-class liar on your hands or the funniest Negro since Eddie Murphy.
* Last May, he claimed that Kansas tornadoes killed a whopping 10,000 people: «In case you missed it, this week, there was a tragedy in Kansas. Ten thousand people died — an entire town destroyed.» The actual death toll: 12.
*Earlier this month in Oregon, he redrew the map of the United States: «Over the last 15 months, we've traveled to every corner of the United States. I've now been in 57 states? I think one left to go.»
*Last week, in front of a roaring Sioux Falls, South Dakota audience, Obama exulted: «Thank you Sioux City…I said it wrong. I've been in Iowa for too long. I'm sorry.»
*Explaining last week why he was trailing Hillary Clinton in Kentucky, Obama again botched basic geography: «Sen. Clinton, I think, is much better known, coming from a nearby state of Arkansas. So it's not surprising that she would have an advantage in some of those states in the middle.» On what map is Arkansas closer to Kentucky than Illinois?
*Obama has as much trouble with numbers as he has with maps. Last March, on the anniversary of the Bloody Sunday march in Selma, Alabama, he claimed his parents united as a direct result of the civil rights movement: «There was something stirring across the country because of what happened in Selma, Alabama, because some folks are willing to march across a bridge. So they got together and Barack Obama Jr. was born.» Obama was born in 1961. The Selma march took place in 1965. His spokesman, Bill Burton, later explained that Obama was «speaking metaphorically about the civil rights movement as a whole.»
*Earlier this month in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, Obama showed off his knowledge of the war in Afghanistan by honing in on a lack of translators: «We only have a certain number of them and if they are all in Iraq, then it's harder for us to use them in Afghanistan.» The real reason it's «harder for us to use them» in Afghanistan: Iraqis speak Arabic or Kurdish. The Afghanis speak Pashto, Farsi, or other non-Arabic languages.
*Over the weekend in Oregon, Obama pleaded ignorance of the decades-old, multi-billion-dollar massive Hanford nuclear waste clean-up: «Here's something that you will rarely hear from a politician, and that is that I'm not familiar with the Hanford, uuuuhh, site, so I don't know exactly what's going on there. (Applause.) Now, having said that, I promise you I'll learn about it by the time I leave here on the ride back to the airport.»
I assume on that ride, a staffer reminded him that he's voted on at least one defense authorization bill that addressed the «costs, schedules, and technical issues» dealing with the nation's most contaminated nuclear waste site.
*Last March, the Chicago Tribune reported this little-noticed nugget about a fake autobiographical detail in Obama's «Dreams from My Father:»
«Then, there's the copy of Life magazine that Obama presents as his racial awakening at age 9. In it, he wrote, was an article and two accompanying photographs of an African-American man physically and mentally scarred by his efforts to lighten his skin. In fact, the Life article and the photographs don't exist, say the magazine's own historians.»
* And in perhaps the most seriously troubling set of gaffes of them all, Obama told a Portland crowd over the weekend that Iran doesn't «pose a serious threat to us»–cluelessly arguing that «tiny countries» with small defense budgets can't do us harm– and then promptly flip-flopped the next day, claiming, «I've made it clear for years that the threat from Iran is grave.»

To all concerned,
I'm not pretending to defend anyone. Just pointing out some facts. In fact if you look at my first response, I included stupid statements from both sides. Can anyone name a single politician that has not done or said something stupid. I admit I do enjoy pointing at Georgies the most. And I never once said that BHO didn't say anything stupid, and I included a very very very few examples. There are tons out there, but I don't have time to write a book.
6 months and 3 days ago
So you're going to vote for the candidate with the least number of stupid statements, correct? Ha ha ha...
6 months and 3 days ago
Not even close NAZZ55. My intent only is point out the fact that they ALL make stupid comments. And if Andy feels the need to point #1 of them out, I'm going to state otherwise. I have not stated whom I support, only who I oppose. And that's Georgie. I think I may have even mentioned on an earlier blog that I may not vote again this time. Because last time I couldn't bring myself to support either Bush or Kerry. And sadly I feel that I'm in the same boat this election. Maybe I should run :0)
6 months and 3 days ago
Tina ... Yes, everyone makes Stupid statements sometimes. HOWEVER, B. HUSSEIN Obama deserves the exact SAME Derision, Laughter and Late nite comedian's unique outlook, as was received by PRESIDENT George W. Bush.
Oh yes, you moron.org type liberals had a FIELD DAY with a certain Vice President. You had to slam DAN QUAYLE for same said «gaffs,» B. Hussein Obama deserves NO LESS.

Why do you ask Jebster? Do you support a lying, cheating, killer of our soldiers, golfing, moron, sitting back & getting richer, weapons of mass destruction imaginator, hide behind my daddy, McCain bashing (in 2000), egotistical, can't run anything especially an economy, alcoholic, who should never have become President?
We could go back and forth all day, but the reality is, I'm right. They ALL say stupid stuff, they ALL are wrong. Too bad we are the greatest nation in the world and we can't find a qualified candidate.

6 months and 3 days ago
Racist and sexist? Ok, maybe a little sexist, but racist? How do you figue? Osamaobama is a class A moron. Just like her thighness, hillary. And John McLame ain't much better. Racist? You got to be friggin' kidding me.... I don't giv e a damn about his color; barack hussien obama is NOT worthy to be the President. None of these idiots running are. And I throw that dork Ron Paul in with the idiots. It has nothing to do with race OR sex in not liking the policies of these political hacks.
As to Tina, just pulling her string because she falls right in with the idiots.
You pal, need to get a grip on reality and cut with the leftist-style «racist and sexist» acquisitions.
6 months and 3 days ago
Racist/Sexist ... hmmm ... a Moron is a MORON ... an Idiot is an Idiot ... and a Leftist/Marxist is a LEFTIST/MARXIST. Color/Gender has never been mentioned except by the whiny Liberals who have to call names because they have no defense for their infantile/purile/utopian views. Grow up!!

Nazz, I get your point...but the bottom line here is that Obama and Clinton both have just absolutely lied, pure and simple.
Yeah, sure, this mental misfit Tina will come right back here and say Pres Bush lied. Well I guess the UN lied too, and Bill Clinton, and most of the Senate and House, and dozens of other countries who said the same thing priot to the Iraq War. Tina and all the other libtards who push these left-wing talking points are as dumb as they come. Facts don't matter to any of these people...they got their heads buried too far up the rear ends...

Seems ol' Barack and ol' Max Baucus have the same problem understanding the meaning of Memorial Day. Baucus sent out a e-mail on Memorial Day weekend honoring those who are serving their country and asked for $25 to help him help them.

Tina sounds like she's been reading Leftism for Dummies. I don't think the poor girl has ever had an original thought.
Yeah, I know people lie. But it's one thing to vote for somebody who turns out to be a liar and a whole different thing to KNOW somebody is a liar and vote for him anyway. That's Barry Hussein. He's nothing but a jive-talkin' liar. He's not even a real person. He's a fabrication, a product made to please the losers and the malcontents.

Before or AFTER I helped the VFW plant Flags at graves of those HEROES who have passed ??
6 months and 3 days ago
a… Me? I carried the American Flag in a Memorial Day Ceremony here and then was part of the Honor Guard for the 21-gun salute. You see, I am a Retired Officer in the U.S. Army and an Officer with my VFW Post. That is Veteran of Foreign Wars for those who may not know. I spent 22 years serving and I still serve now. I serve all our Veterans now, past and present. Unlike the left, I value their service and sacrifice. Do you?
6 months and 2 days ago
Ok now after reading all the comments I only have a few things to say. First and formost to Jebsters last entry. What do you mean (unlike the left, I value their service and sacrifice.) I am not on the left, I am somewhere in the middle, and have stated so several times. I too am a veteran. I was stationed at Langley, AFB and was part of the first unit on the ground during Desert Storm! Don't ever try to tell me how I feel about my fellow service members! I respect them more, even now in an unjustified war of Georgies personal agenda. I still serve to this day in the Montana National Guard. I look across the field every day at the cemetary, and I hold the most respect for every man and woman who has served this grand country.
As for NAZZ55, I am not a leftism for dummies. Your constant strive to put others down probably has something to do with your own insecurities. Does it make you feel better? Go get a tissue, wipe your eyes and grow up!
6 months and 2 days ago
Jebster had NOTHING to say about you and your feelings for the troops. But ... if the SHOE FITS ...
As for your being «IN the Middle» ... you end up with dead skunks, racoons, and worthless chunks of tire.

So what your saying is that if I'm liberal I'm stupid, and if I'm a moderate I'm wishywashy? Well I prefer to be wishywashy and not vote down party lines. So keep feeding your own ego by putting others down. And intimidator, your name calling doesn't intimidate anyone. So if you feel the need to call me bitchy because I enjoy pointing out the errors of both parties, keep on it, but by all means...keep it real.

Tina:
Desert Storm? Wasn't that the so-called war in which Saddam Hussein rounded up all shopkeepers in Baghdad, gave them uniforms, and sent them out to the Kuwaiti border where they promptly threw away their uniforms, began waving bed sheets and surrendered to TV news crews and drone aircraft?
Yes, I think I remember that so-called war. The ground assault began at 4 AM on February 24, 1991 and ended at 8:01 AM on February 28, 1991. Oh, yeah, The Mother of All Battles the ragheads called it.
And Tina, you're the Mother of All Bullshit. Thanks for washing dishes or making chow or typing letters or maybe driving a truck around the base, but don't play the girl soldier combat veteran around here. A two-year hitch in the Air Force watching the war on CNN doesn't earn you anything except veteran's benefits. It doesn't give you the right to question the Commander in Chief and the real men who gave up their lives following his orders.
6 months and 2 days ago
Actually NAZZ55 your wrong...again. For one Langley is TAC Headquarters and we did a lot more than what you stated. Two years? I have served 6 on active duty and 11 in the National Guard. And Desert Storm was a small part of my service to this nation. My career started with the bombing of Libya, and is still going. And its pretty obvious that you have a problem comprehending what you read. I have NEVER questioned the service members...only Georgie. Or as you call him, the Commander in Chief.
6 months and 2 days ago
Tina, honey, please take your Midol. You are over the edge.
And you calling is «Georgies war» belies your absolute idiocy and inability to understand facts.
Hey guy, we need to lighten up on this little lady. Her head just might explode....
6 months and 2 days ago
You're a type, Tina. I've seen sorry pukes like you all the way back to Vietnam.
The good soldier, bad commander routine is an old leftist con game.
When you insult the Commander in Chief, you insult the memory of the dead.
6 months and 2 days ago
Wrong again. Insulting Georgie has nothing to do with the memory of the dead. Supporting our troops does not mean that I have to support Georgie, they are not the same and many Veterans are aware of that concept.
And now I'm a puke? Feel better? Need a kleenex? The midol comments from Jebster are rather funny though. But I think you may need a Ritalin now, because you keep repeating yourself. Focus man...Focus.
6 months and 2 days ago
Oh, sweetie, that hurt...
And yes, you DISHONOR all of our troops with your comments. You spew left-wing talking points with your «Georgies war» commnets.
Your husband needs to slap you around again and get you back into line with proper thinking...
6 months and 2 days ago
Psst! Tina... your string is showing.
6 months and 2 days ago

6 months and 2 days ago
Where am I? I am NOT bad-mouthing my country and dishonoring the troops.
You have already proven that you hate this country and all it stands for. I doubt you have even served. Probably luing about that, aren't you, honey?

I don't see Barry Hussein's name on your list, A. Citizen.
Maybe you should check with the Kenyan Army Reserves or the Nation of Islam to see if he served there.

He never claimed to have served, nor like so many of your contemporaries, is beating the war drums or holding up false patriotism.

Oh, OK. So Barry Hussein never «served» his country «proudly.» Just wanted to clarify that. For a second there, it sounded like you were trying to pass him off as a patriot, which I thought was a fairly odd way to characterize Barry. I mean, he's the guy who spent the last 20 years listening to God Damn America lectures, correct?

Sure they served their country. doesn't mean some of them are any less of a traitor or socialist or marxist now, does it? Heck, just look at the treason committed by Murtha, or Teddy, or Harkin. Benedict Arnold served our country to. Do we honor him? Maybe some on the left do.
No, sorry, I can't agree with honoring these guys who now do their best to turn this country into some soviet union re-tread.

Jebster,
«Sure they served their country. doesn't mean some of them are any less of a traitor»
So let me get this straight. Those that put their lives at risk. Those that lost limbs and put their whole existance online, they are socialists and Marxists. »
Perhaps this will help. Let's look at those that are preaching war and are more than happy to send others off to fight it....
(Please note Saxby Chambliss)
* Senator John McCain - McCain's naval honors include the Silver Star, Bronze Star, Legion of Merit, Purple Heart and Distinguished Flying Cross. Why did the Bush campaign smear him so in 2000? At least Senators Cleland (D-GA), Kerry (D-MA), Kerrey (D-NE), Robb (D-VA) and Hagel (R-NE) defended him.
* Representative Patrick McHenry, R-NC - did not serve. Saw fit to endanger American troops' lives after a visit to Iraq by violating operational security and helping militias target their mortar attacks on the Green Zone.
