2 Million Democratic Votes Didn't Count
2 Million Democrats cast ballots in the Democratic Primary, yet their votes will not count. All those who voted in Florida and Michigan should be very upset with their party.
Clinton has been insisting that the desires of more than 2 million people who cast Democratic ballots in the two states should be reflected at the convention, which would help her catch up to Obama in the race for delegates.
These poor people are being disenfranchised by their own party. Their voices should be heard!
Ironic since it was Democrats who made the case in Florida in 2000 that every vote should be counted even though those votes were counted and recounted many times with the same result.
Come on Democrats, be consistent. Count every vote!

Shouldn't we all play by the rules, Andy? Florida and Michigan took a chance and moved their primaries up, which is expressly against party rules. But it ain't over yet.

Tried an html link in the above post but it didn't seem to work. Here's a non-html link to that site:

Those ballots count, Andrew. But, as things stand now, their party delegates won't be seated at the convention. That's a party decision, not disenfranchising; that's something you should know something about given the BS caucus that the Montana Republicants used which really did deny Montana Republicans the ability to vote.

I'm not sure how the votes count if the party doesn't seat the delegates at the convention.

Your cluelessness is not my real concern, Andy. But I'll give you a hint: SooperDooper Delegates. And I do have a question: if your candidate is all that, why do you care what the Democrats do, Republicant?

I don't think those Florida votes should count. As a matter of fact, I am amazed that the Dem voters in Florida got through this round of voting without poking any eyes out. I imagine that the party conducted some voter education drives to instruct their members how to poke a hole in a piece of paper.
Progress has been made in Florida!

Wulfgar,
The Super Delegates are not tied to the popular vote. Please try again.
I don't think my candidate is all that. Just tying to help, in my little way, to keep Hillary in the race to make it more interesting and keep them campaigning against each other. Might help out my candidate since I don't think he's going to try very hard.

The Super Delegates are not tied to the popular vote.
You truly are clueless. No, they are not tied to the popular vote, but they are influenced by it. That has been the focus of the campaign you seem so worried about, and understand so little.
You don't get it, Andrew. You might as well back off right now. Or don't. It gives me material.

I'm right yet I'm clueless. OK, fine, whatever.
Try again.

Cost of superdelegates rising faster than gas prices.
Hillary, Barack, want my vote? Just $20 million, please
Sounds like a good deal to me. Promising money out of the public coffers to buy a superdelegate vote is a win-win for democrats. You can tell the experienced politicians from the novices by how long they hold onto their undeclared status. How much do you suppose Schweitzer is holding out for? The trick, I guess, is to get your cost promised before the race is settled. Hold out too long and there is no guarantee of a purchase.
Who says Dems don't embrace the free market?

Cardiac is right. It's all about money, which is something people like Wulfgar and all Democrats don't understand.
The two Dems have already shot their bolt when it comes to campaign finances. And the longer they do their little dog & pony show on the national stage, the more money it costs them. That means they have to keep going back to the well.
Granted, most liberals are completely foolish when it comes to money, but even they have their pain limit. By the time the Dems get to Denver, nobody on the left will be in any mood to make any more donations.

(CNSNews.com) - Rush Limbaugh's «Operation Chaos» -- a tactic that calls on Republicans to vote for Hillary Clinton in the Democratic primaries to keep her in the race where she will «bloody» Barack Obama and cause primary mayhem in general -- is apparently working, according to the Obama campaign. The campaign said that the tactic helped Clinton win the Indiana primary on Tuesday.
