Missoulian Editorial Still Doesn't Get It
In today's Missoulian editorial, they just don't get it even though I was clear about the goal of Operation Chaos. I've highlighted the key sentence in my quote.
Now a Missoula blogger is encouraging Montanans who don't want Democratic candidates Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama to become the next president of the United States to vote for Clinton in the state primary June 3. And yes, he seems to be completely serious.Andy B. Hammond described the campaign on his blog, the Hammond Report, as «the creation of Rush Limbaugh to create chaos in the Democratic Primaries ... The goal is to keep Hillary in the race so her and Obama can keep tearing each other up and exposing each other for the unqualified candidates they are.» A similar effort in Pennsylvania, he wrote, helped Clinton win a 9 percentage point lead over Obama.
But that was before the recent polls suggesting that Clinton could actually beat McCain. Polls from AP-Ipsos, CBS/New York Times, Fox and Gallup all show Clinton leading McCain in votes in hypothetical elections. So campaigns to keep Clinton in the race may actually do more harm than good for McCain supporters.
I don't care which Democratic candidate wins the nomination! If Hillary was in Obama's place right now, I'd be voting for Obama and encouraging others to do the same. I just want to help make sure they both stay in the race until the bitter end so they can «tear each other up». They are both very beatable and polls don't mean much right now when McCain isn't yet focused on either of them in an aggressive way. He's playing it smart by getting out of the way and letting them go at it.
I'm not hiding my intentions and goals for Operation Chaos - Montana Division. It's all right there in the open in my posts and comments.

Andy,
Isn't it painful to be so paranoid? It must be very disappointing to feel that your party's philosophy is so weak that it can't withstand a free and open election.

Lucky,
No paranoia here. Just trying to help out and exercise my right to vote for whomever I wish. The conservative philosophy is strong and the way most Americans live their lives. This is why Democrats needed to recruit Conservative Democrats to win the House and Senate last year.

«paranoid» now, eh?
I guess Republicans are moving up the food chain. I was just getting used to «Racist,» «Sexist,» «Homophobe» and «just plain mean;» «paranoid» is almost a compliment!
I love how these Lefty net creeps screech about how intolerant the Right is, but you'll rarely catch them actually debating an idea. Their responses are usually just a lot of four-letter howling. If you're lucky, your well-reasoned argument will be met by the Left with ad hominem attacks, non-sequitors, and blatantly off-topic straw man arguments.
As to Operation Chaos ... it's working, so a few people apparently «get» it.
But the chattering class can't wrap their heads around it. Of course, if everything we knew had been learned in journalism school, we'd be stuck out in the cold when it came to logic and reason too.

Webster: Paranoia - a tendency...toward excessive or irrational suspiciousness and distrustfulness of others.

Sometimes you guys just make it too easy to prove a point.

Dear Lucky,
Smug and Stupid is no way to go through life.
In spite of your ability to use a dictionary, you have failed to show how either my comments regarding the blogging Left or Hammond's endorsement of Operation Chaos fits Webster's definition of paranoia.
If you had accused me of resorting to stereotyping, you would have been closer to making a point.
By the way, if you're attempting to appear intelligent use the Oxford English Dictionary (www.oed.com) rather than Webster. Fourth-graders use Webster, wordsmiths use the OED.
But then, I suppose that Webster is a bit more up your alley.

I do find it rather humorous that leftie folks try to put a twist on Operation Chaos. Most humorous of all is that Limbaugh predicted that part of it too.
