Obama's Bullfrog
Bullfrog from Wikipedia:
They are aptly named since their call is a loud, guttural bellow that carries a long distance, giving the impression that the frog is much larger than it actually is, which is an advantage in keeping predators away.

Who needs Operation Chaos when we've got Jeremiah Wright?
Christmas came early this year for Republicans. Dems can't take the nomination away from Obama, but they can't get rid of Jeremiah Wright either.
Jerry Wright: the gift that keeps on giving.

Dave,
You are so right!

Andy,
If, between Rev. Wright and your oh-so-mature Operation Chaos, you are so sure that McCain is going to take the general, do you want to put a wager down?
Cause I will take that bet.

Colby,
I'm not a big fan of McCain either. I'm not so sure he will win. OC is a campaign «against» not a campaign «for».
So there!

Well isn't America, as you ahve said many times, a mostly Conservative county? How could Obama or Clinton possibly win if this is true?

Colby,
Because McCain ain't a Conservative. He's a moderate which is why he may not win.

Sure, but even so, aren't both Clinton and Obama more liberal than McCain? I mean, perhaps he isn't perfectly Conservative, but he sure is more than those two. So, why wouldn't a Conservative country vote against the Liberals?
Or maybe America isn't so Conservative after all...

«Or maybe America isn't so Conservative after all...»
(Colby's in denial about the last 27 years of American politics. No doubt he will turn suicidal over the next four years.)

Oh, a 6 instead of a 5 now Checker.
Is that number indicating how mature you are, in years?

Colby,
It's much easier to vote for something then to vote against something. I am having a very difficult time getting excited about this election because of McCain. He has some conservative tendencies but he has a lot of questionable liberal positions that make me very uncomfortable.
I'll still vote for him because he is a vote against a far left candidate - be it Hillary or Obama.

Andy,
I understand your point, so if America is a Conservative country, why wouldn't they do the same thing you are doing? If it is a Conservative country, as you claim, why is there even a remote chance at all that a 'far left Liberal' like Obama or Clinton might actually win.
Seems to me, if you are so sure about the Country's political leanings, that you have nothing at all to fear come November.
So why are you worried?

Colby,
I stand by my claim that it's a Conservative country. The Democrats had to recruit conservative Democrats in order to take the House and Senate last year. Most people don't pay attention to the primaries. It is mostly us partisans who are paying attention and participating.
If we had a Conservative as the Republican nominee, I wouldn't be concerned. We have a moderate who leans left on many important issues.
