Operation Chaos - Montana Division
I am officially opening up the Montana Division of Operation Chaos. It's the creation of Rush Limbaugh to create chaos in the Democratic Primaries. The ultimate objective of Operation Chaos is for our side, the Republicans, to win as Rush said in his broadcast yesterday.
I might take the time here to remind everybody what the ultimate objective of Operation Chaos is. Do you remember what it is, Dawn? What is the ultimate...? (interruption) No, no. Yes, but the ultimate objective is for our side to win, and our side is represented by John McCain.
In order to do this we need to do whatever we can to ensure we can win. For example, 160,000 Pennsylvania Republicans switched to the Democrat party in order to vote in the Democrat primary. Hillary won by double digits. This was all through the encouragement of Rush and Operation Chaos. The goal is to keep Hillary in the race so her and Obama can keep tearing each other up and exposing each other for the unqualified candidates they are.
My goal is to continue Operation Chaos in the Montana Democrat Primary. It's an open primary on June 3 so it will be very easy to just go and vote. It is the last state primary, along with South Dakota, before the National Convention and I am pretty sure Hillary will still be battling so I plan on voting for her. I have also recruited, to date, eight other conservatives to vote for her and plan on recruiting many more.
Since we have the last 24 delegates of the primary season and the race looks to stay very close, Montana could be a crucial battleground. So I encourage all Montana Conservatives and Republicans to participate in Operation Chaos. Vote for Hillary on June 3. If a pollster calls you, tell them you support Obama.
While this will be fun, it's also serious business. We can't have either of these far left Liberals heading the country. It will be devastating on so many levels. While I hold my nose about McCain, he is far, far better then Hillary and Obama.
Let me know if you plan on participating and what you are telling pollsters.

I agree this is Rush's doing...but are you SURE Hillary is the more beatable candidate?
2 months and 15 days ago
I actually think both are very beatable. It's been fascinating watching them go after each other. We need to keep the race between them going strong. It's giving McCain a lot to use in the General Election.

BRAVO!!
Give 'em Hell, Montana!
We got the ball rolling down here in Texas, and what's happened since is absolutely astonishing.
The issue, really, isn't that Hillary is more beatable than Obama. That may have been the original theory, but these days we just want to encourage the Dems to continue their self-implosion.
If HIllary wins the nomination, we will witness the destruction of the Democrat Party because the perception will be that she cheated (and, truth be told, she probably has already).
If, however, she merely remains in the race until the Summer, we may have more Jeremiah Wright, «bitter»-gate moments that will serve only to weaken Obama as a general election candidate.
We're pulling for you, Montana.
Of course, if the Heller case goes the wrong way before the Supreme Court, it's highly likely that a platoon of us God-fearing, gun-toting Texans will head your way to fight for your state's right to uphold the contract your territory once made with the United States.
An armed man is a citizen; and unarmed man is a subject.
Now, let's beat back those dirty socialist hippies!!

Carol probably has a point.
Nearly all liberals have been trained their entire lives to see blacks as continually in need of help. Liberals view blacks as essentially childlike people incapable of surviving on their own. A subliminal message is firmly implanted in every liberal's mind: There is something defective about blacks that is not susceptible to a permanent cure or even amelioration; therefore, society must be rearranged by law to accommodate those defects.
In the end, this structural racism or subconscious racism found in all liberals and the Democratic Party will express itself as a fear of voting for a black president. If necessary, they will cross party lines in the general election and vote for the white candidate. But if Mrs. Clinton is their candidate, they will stay put and vote for her.
2 months and 15 days ago
Since I'll be in the 'hood on June 3rd perhaps Daniels Co. will be registering an extra vote for Clinton
but are you SURE Hillary is the more beatable candidate?
I'm not sure if it's about Hillary being the «more beatable candidate,» Carol. I think it has more to do with simply bringing chaos to the Dem nominating process, the end-game being that they haven't chosen an official candidate until 6 weeks before the general. I used to think Clinton had too much baggage in her past to be considered but the trinity of the Weathermen, Wright, and Rezko...as well as some other «associations» I hear are in the pipeline will be too much for mainstream Americans to stomach as it concerns Obama.
Gotta hand it to the nutroots though. Before the process began the conventional wisdom was that grassroots nutroot support wouldn't play a role in a race the size and scope of a presidential run. The nutroots have now bought themselves a candidate and created the narrative surrounding him...all to their their eventual demise come November. Why interfere with a guy trying to commit suicide.

Thanks to Chuck Johnson I finally got the right link to this blog!
As much fun as it is to create chaos, I am concerned that many of our down-ticket republican races could suffer as a result. Johnson mentioned the senate race - I think Bushman is probably ok - but what about the AG race? It's critical that we have the best possible candidate to go forward in that contest. And then there are the leg races that Koopman has messed up with his wing-nut candidates.
I'm thinking that we might be better served by letting the Dems shoot themselves by themselves: Don't murder a man who is in the process of committing suicide.

Does Operation Chaos have a strategy? There is no doubt Rush is achieving some tactical successes out there. If he weren't, we would not be reading, hearing and talking about Operation Chaos as much as we are. But what is the Strategy? Is the Republican Party—Win or Lose in November, going to be better off because of Operation Chaos? This is a serious question!
2 months and 14 days ago
This only confirms my suspicion that many elements of the GOP are essentially willing to do anything, regardless of ethics, to get elected.
2 months and 14 days ago
Let's go all the way and make sure we vote for Pogreba and Neiffer in the governonr's race. I think they got in just so the contributions would not have to be returned The hard thing to figure out is do we want to give Clinton any felling that she has a chance? But what the heck, our 3 will go to McCain in the real election, so let's give it a chance.
2 months and 14 days ago
The strategy is to keep the dems spending money and weakening each other so we can be sure that neither of them get to the White House. If we can keep their race going till their convention, at best, they will come out of it with about half of them still mad at the other half. This result should make it easier for McKain to prevail in Nov.

Is there any possibility of closing the roads out of Denver once the convention has started? Denver residents, how about taking one for the good of the nation?

General Hammon, I hearby offer myself as one of your faithful captains here on the eastern front.
2 months and 14 days ago
You should be disgusted and ashamed with yourself Mr. Hammond. I am neither Republican nor Democrat, but I am rabidly political and believe in America's democratic process. The presidential election is not a joke and should not be treated as such. We are very lucky to have this right, and many Americans have died over the years to protect it. How can you think it's morally right to try and sabotage Obama and Clinton? If you truly believe McCain is the right person to fill the presidency and continue Bush's reign, why would he need you to cheat for him?
Candidates should be elected on their own values and beliefs with how they could help our country, not how well they do at rigging elections.
If I were McCain, I would try and distance myself as far away from you and your «cause» as much as possible.
Simply put, it's not the Montana way. Grow up.

Someone with your ignorance needs to go to iraq and get killed to understand how bad the country has been run. It will take nothing short of that for you to understand that republican leadership feels like dry humping a jar full of glass and nails!

Careful if you switch parties to vote for Hillary. The Federal Election Commission has deemed this voter fraud and it is illegal.
(as well as immoral) There is already an investigation going on regarding Limbaugh's efforts in this regard.

[Update to my earlier comment concerning liberals and Democrats abandoning a black candidate. Quoting Robert Novak, «Deeping Democratic Dilemma,» 04/24/08.]
«How was it possible, then, that Sen. Clinton, given up for dead by her party's establishment, won Pennsylvania in a 10-point landslide? The answer is the dreaded Bradley Effect.
«Prominent Democrats only whisper when they compare Obama, the first African-American with a serious chance to be president, with what happened to Los Angeles' black Mayor Tom Bradley a quarter of a century ago. Exit polls in 1982 showed Bradley ahead for governor of California, but he actually lost to Republican George Deukmejian. Pollster John Zogby (who correctly predicted Clinton's double-digit win Tuesday) said what practicing Democrats would not. «I think voters face-to-face are not willing to say they would oppose an African-American candidate,» Zogby told me.
«If there really is a Bradley Effect in 2008, Zogby sees November peril ahead for Obama in blue states. John McCain is a potential winner not only in Pennsylvania but also Michigan, Wisconsin and Minnesota, and can retain Ohio.»

Violet, how can it be voter fraud, one person, one vote. I voted for Cooney in the primary because I thought he was the best Democrat to run. When it came down to O'Keefe and Martz, I had to go with Martz. It's our decission to vote how we want and don't tell me you haven't voted strictly 'for' one person and not 'against' the other, or in our referendum system in this state. As for No, what kind of support does our military have for either of the Democratic canditates. From the several I know, not much. As for making a mockery of the process.....that started about a year ago....much too long!!!

This is just another disgusting reminder of how Republican's do business. There only concern is themselves! Not the American people, not those that are dying every day for your freedom to post this crap! I am a very proud American Veteran. I NEVER vote down party lines, I vote for the person that I believe shares the most common goals as I do. How many times has GW went against the popular view of America to meet his own greedy agenda? Too many times, and too many innocent lives have been affected by his attitude. I for one will NOT vote for the continuation of the same path we have been on. Not only do I deserve it...we as a nation deserve so much better than the standard quo of this administration. Thanks Mr. Hammond for the opportunity to bring people like you out in the open. And you can now take the time to thank the thousands of men and women who have died on behalf of your idealogical BS!
2 months and 14 days ago
It seems that election fraud has become a hallmark of Republican election strategy. Funny how no one seems surprised.
2 months and 14 days ago
«Innocent lives,» «election fraud»—where are all these sappy people coming from?
2 months and 14 days ago
No fraud involved. Open primaries. Laugh at silly liberals. Ha Ha. Denver not fun place to be during DNC. Ha Ha.
2 months and 14 days ago
Yes I consider our soldiers as «innocent.» They were sent to fight for nothing more than oil in Iraq. If they were fighting due to the tragedy on September 11th, then they would be in larger forces in Afghanistan. Yes they are in Afghanistan, but compared to Iraq its 50 to 1. So I consider themas innocent victims of GW's personal mission!
2 months and 14 days ago
Excuse me, let me correct my last sentance. I consider US as innocent victims of GW's personal mission. I WAS THERE!!!

My response to Ed (#18)
I can tell you that all the military members that I know (including myself) support an exit strategy. Mr. McMain does not have one, therefor we will be supporting the Democratic candidate that does NOT want us to be there for the 100 years or more.
2 months and 14 days ago
«All the military members» you know? What is that, six people?
By the way, you will not find «McMain» on the ballot. But you might find Osama.
2 months and 14 days ago
Micheal Yon This is a much better source for what's going on in Iraq and what the military members say.
By the way, voting for Hillary in the primary has nothing to do with which democrat dwarf will be elected, it's about creating chaos in the democrat selection process. It'll be easy for us, as we won't have to train our side on how to properly punch a hole in a piece of paper.

You are truly one sick «mother ***». To even conceive such an idea as to try to elect someone who will drag our country even further down into the sewer then it already has been in the past almost 8 years. If you truly were an American and cared about this country you would want to elect someone who wants to do better and more for OUR country then for HIS bank account (and those of his friends.) You would want to elect someone who cares about the people who are out there every day working multiple jobs and still not being able to make ends meet because the oil echelon need more and more while «we the people» survive on less and less. (And don't even bother to give me the BS about McCain wanting to make poverty a top priority...that is a crock and we all know it!) I hope that before it's too late you will wise up and make a good decision for a change. Vote for OBAMA and prove you are a real man who actually cares about making a difference in the country that has given you the freedom to write such garbage in the first place!
OBAMA FOR PRESIDENT IN 2008!!!!!!
2 months and 13 days ago
I disagree, Cheryl. I support the war on terror. I support the need to stabilize the region to ensure the free flow of oil. Our entire economy and way of life is dependent on oil. You and people like you are woefully naive on the subject of oil and it's importance. Take a few minutes and think how important it is and do some research.
I do not support Obama. He is the dangerous one. He does not love this country. His associations with Rev Wright & William Ayers and his refusal to show his patriotism are very concerning, to say the least.
I pray that people like you open your eyes and use simple common sense and see the truth. Look what's happened to our economy since the Democrats took over the House and Senate last year.
2 months and 13 days ago
Tina,
First of all, I sincerely thank you for serving our great country. Thank you for fighting for my right to express myself and vote for who I think is best. I find it ironic, however, that you criticize me for exercising those rights.
2 months and 13 days ago
Oh, Mr. Hammond, what mischief you have wrought!
It's always fun to watch those lefty NetRoots come out in force against a good idea from the Right, foaming at the mouth and calling it «fraud» or «immorality.»
The Obama acolytes are almost as bad -- of course these two groups are rarely mutually exclusive. I had an Obama-loving lass explain to me last week that none of his gaffes or Marxist elitism have changed her opinion one bit because she likes the way he talks. (Apparently, she hasn't seen him speek without his teleprompter.) She went on to advise that she would sooner vote for Oprah than for Hillary Clinton. Pure genius -- you can't change a mind when the decision is all heart.
Even though I was an early foot soldier for «Operation Chaos,» I doubt that we've had that much influence. After all, the Dems have generated plenty of their own chaos. This should be their year, but they're tearing themselves apart. Brilliant.
2 months and 13 days ago
Mr. Hammond, with all due respect. I don't mean to criticize you for exercising your rights. I'm just glad that I have the same rights as you do when it comes to my opinion. Its as simple as that, we both have our own opinions.
Too everyone else that thinks I'm a liberal. I actually like and agree with most of what Mr. McCain stands for, except for the war in Iraq. Who I am most upset with is the current administration for putting us there without all the knowledge that was right there in front of them. Being a Veteran, I will never forget how GW treated John McCain. Does anyone remember how he tried to blow off his service when GW was running the first time around? I remember it very clearly! We do depend on oil to much, and I don't think that problem will be solved in my lifetime. I do think it can be solved. I wish that we as American's could focus on our own. We produce oil, and have the capability of producing more. Why are we so intent on helping other countries, when we have children here that don't eat 3 meals a day? Yes that was a «conservative» statement. I am both liberal and conservative. I'ts my right to be that way. Its my right to vote for people and issues, not down party lines.
2 months and 13 days ago
McCain is a liberal, except for his stance on the war on terror. It amazes me that the Democrat party found two dwarfs that will usher McCain into the White House.
Ok, back to operation CHAOS.
What is the purpose of telling phone pollers that I will vote for Obama? Is it just to mix it up a bit? I'm not sure I can say that with a straight face. Can I tell them I voted for Ron Paul? I can almost say that without laughing.
2 months and 13 days ago
K... Lemme get this straight. The libs are now whining about getting extra votes from our side? Ain't the they ones that can't figure out how to vote correctly in the first place? As far as I'm concerned they can sit down and STFU. They need all the help they can get. The more CHAOS the better. You libs carry on with your circular firing squad. It's kinda fun to watch. Pass the popcorn please.

Obama, Clinton, McCain...Regardless who wins this, we're still in a hell of a mess. Continued partisan throat-cutting will do nothing to lessen the time it takes to get this country back on track. Frankly, I can't imagine why anyone would want the position of POTUS. It must all come down to ego.
2 months and 13 days ago
I am rooting for Obama but I am not all that excited about this election one way or another. I am just glad to see the Shrub leave with his tail between his legs. Anyway, I think it will be rather amusing if you people succeed in your «operation». Did you ever think that Hillary might be able to beat McCain? I don't know that she can but if she does I must say it would make me chuckle to think that all you Operation Chaos republicans will have to go to sleep each night knowing that you cast a vote for another Clinton. Ha! That would be hilarious.

If by some amazing feat the Rep. party manages to buy their way into another 4 years I hope there will be a country left to salvage when it's over.
Oh and I was wondering if anyone can explain the alienation of the people and the backbiting that has been going on within the Republician party here in MT in the past year or so??? Seems a bit dysfunctional to me.
2 months and 13 days ago
Hey, Cheryl, don't be so depressed. I know it's tough on you to see your party self-destructing before your very eyes. But, really, all that race-based and gender-based politics is like so totally retro. The Democrats did it to themselves by believing their own hateful ideology.
But cheer up, Cheryl. Look at it this way: After the current Democratic Party implodes, you will get a whole new Democratic Party!

Why don't you grow up and let AMERICA decide who goes to the primary. You need to seriously evaluate what you are proposing and how it makes you look right now.

McCain's televangelist ally believes God damns America
Since Democrats began complaining about (and the media kept ignoring) the controversial relationship between John McCain and radical televangelist John Hagee, the Texas megachurch pastor has kept a fairly low profile. It's hardly surprising — McCain probably encouraged him to avoid major media attention, and Hagee, anxious to help his political ally, obliged.
In fact, a month ago today, the New York Times ran an edited interview with Hagee, in which the Times' Deborah Solomon asked, «Let's talk about your much-quoted comment that Hurricane Katrina was God's punishment for a gay rights parade in New Orleans.» Hagee responded, «We're not going down there.» He called the subject «off-base.»
Now, however, Hagee is willing to go down there.
On September 18, 2006, Pastor John Hagee — whose endorsement Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) said this past Sunday he was «glad to have» — told NPR's Terry Gross that «Hurricane Katrina was, in fact, the judgment of God against the city of New Orleans.» «New Orleans had a level of sin that was offensive to God,» Hagee said, because «there was to be a homosexual parade there on the Monday that the Katrina came.»
On his radio show yesterday, right-wing talker Dennis Prager asked Hagee to respond to «the various charges made against him» in a fact sheet put out by the Democratic National Committee. Asked about his comments on Hurricane Katrina, Hagee said «the topic of that day was cursing and blessing.»
Hagee told Prager, «What happened in New Orleans looked like the curse of God, in time if New Orleans recovers and becomes the pristine city it can become it may in time be called a blessing. But at this time it's called a curse.» When Prager sought to clarify if Hagee believes «God's hand» was responsible for Katrina «because of a sinful city,» Hagee responded, «That it was a city that was planning a sinful conduct, yes.»
Obviously, Hagee is entitled to his religious beliefs, but I suspect the notion that a deadly, devastating hurricane was the result of divine intervention and God's «judgment» is the kind of thing most Americans would find kind of nutty.
Atrios adds a great point: «God Damns America … and it's okay as long as conservatives think so.»

Forgetting motives, strategies and such, it is statements like this from: Sharon Cobb that I find highly offensive and scary.
«While it's not illegal to cross over and vote for the reasons Rush wants everyone to vote, it's certainly a moral crime.»
Who's morality is she talking about. For 200 years lobbyists, politicians, unions, the media and corporations have been buying, cajolling and coercing votes. People have been told how to vote forever, Rush is just succeeding at the same thing with a new tactic. When a Democratic poll worker escorts a 100 illiterate locals off a bus into a Macon County polling place and hands them a ballot and tells them to vote a certain way, there's no outcry of morality.
The real moral crime in elections is allowing illiterate, un-educated masses to vote when they have not an ounce of understanding of the free-market capitalism and freedoms that has made theirs and everyone else's life in America better than anywhere else on this planet.

Hell, for that matter why don't you just change a letter and call him Osama. It wouldn't bother me for a second. I am going to laugh my ass off if you have to say President Barack Hussein Obama. Limbaugh and his followers are basically frightenend people and feel that whatever they do is right--whether it is basically immoral, unprincipled or unethical. These are people similar to the ones used by the Hitler regime and would fit into that society very easily. They are frightened by the fact that women have brains and can be equal to men and by the fact that blacks (what is «black» anyway?--what a stupid term) have brains and can be equal to so-called «white» men/women and by the fact that Native Americand and gays have brains...and so on ad nauseam. I am a so-called «white» woman, a 4th generation Montanan Christian who owns several guns and who prefers Obama over Clinton. I am sick and tired of the rhetoric of hate and simply love the new rhetoric of the Obama campaign. Stick that in your ear you people who want the old corrupt ways of the copper kings and are frightened of the new era dawning, as it surely will--with or without your cooperation.

This whole operation Chaos BS actually helps the Dems IMHO. Keep the race going and keep them in the headlines as long as possible while nobody has any clue what McCain is doing other than co-horting with the gay-hating, jew-hating, «the Catholic Church is the whore of the World» pastor John Hagee. Both democrats will stop this party in-fighting and negativity very soon. The more headlines the democrats get, the more new voters they get because all of the excitement of the race excites people and they want to be a part of it.
Also, in regards to Operation Chaos - if you have already voted in the GOP caucus, can you still legally take part in the dems primary?

What about President Bush's degrees from Yale and Harvard. Those don't count, right?
2 months and 13 days ago
I think both parties are quickly pushing the USA down the same path to socialisim. I have grown very tired of this election. At this point - i couldn't care less who was elected. They all have their issues.
1. Obama: Even after all this talk about «unity» and «togetherness» «la la cumbyaha» crap - is still going to keep the racial divide in this country - if he wins watch for more minority support programs and funding. Watch for white people to fume about said programs. I also think as a Democrat he will reduce funding from the Department of Defense.
2. Clinton: Bill Clinton's husband (or Wife) depending on which political blowhard you listen to - Bill Clinton's presidency is still tainted by the whole sex scandal - thats all people think about when they hear the name «Clinton». Her Healthcare for everyone plan is a failure waiting to happen - even if she can pull it off, it will be scrapped by the next administration.
3. McCain - Dear John McCain after 8 years of people being upset about the economy, war, and other social issues it might not be too bright on your part to say you are going to follow President Bush's lead in the presidency in regards to the war.
I wish we could just have a none of the above option on the ballots in this country, where if a majority of people voted for «None of the Above» there had to be another election within 30 days - not 24 months.... please just let it end!

Since OPERATION CHAOS is intent on voting dishonestly maybe we should make all primaries closed. That would certainly put a damper on the agenda.

Tina,
Great idea. All primaries should be closed. If they were, we wouldn't have to McCain as our nominee. If only Republicans were allowed to vote in the early GOP primaries we would probably have a true conservative as our nominee. Because most states allow open primaries where «Independents» aka Liberals can vote, we are stuck with McCain.

There's nothing dishonest about it. We want to keep both of them around until the cage match in Denver. Well, that and we want the party in as big of a shambles as is humanly possible. Besides, it's a riot watching the two sides of it tear each other apart. Stop by Democrat Underground sometime for a good laugh. I'd recommend wearing Kevlar though. They are firing live rounds over there LOL!

Right on Andy, When the liberals complains about operation Chaos, they forget, or to give them the benefit of the doubt , they don't know that McCain is not the first or second choice of the conservative side of the republican party. He was chosen by cross over votes in New Hampshire. It is not unfair or frauldulent for us to help muck up their circus.

Andy,
To blame the fact McCain is the nominee isn't because of the Liberals and Independents. But because people are tired of George W. Bush and how he has ruined the country in the last 8 years. The other nominee contenders (Huckabee, Ron Paul) were never truly viable candidates.
But lets look at the facts - The economy is in Shambles, Forclosures are at an all time high, Oil is at an all time high and rapidly going higher, People are losing their jobs, Education is in shambles because of the failed «No Child Left Behind» act, Teen Pregnancy and Teen Drug and Alcohol abuse is at an all time high, the War is costing us billions of dollars per day from some estimates.
All the conservitives worry about is how high taxes are against people who make more than 200,000 a year, and how to keep people from having abortions and spreading disinformation when it comes to sex to support the flawed abstiance only education.
Can you with a straight face tell me why anyone in their right mind would vote for anyone who even resembled George W. Bush? This is the same state we are in when George H. W. Bush was voted out in a landside victory to Bill Clinton.

Practically everyone nowadays will tell you they're independents, as in «a pox on both your houses,» and they still have the right to vote.
I heard one indy complain because he had to «declare a party» in order to vote in the primary he wanted. Like, why should I have to declare a party to vote in their primary? LOL
I think that was Florida. This predated Operation Chaos by the way.

Smith,
The economy and standard of living in the US were at all time highs until the Democrats won the House and Senate in 2006. Their ideas and policies created a lack of confidence in the markets. That is why we are in the situation we are in now.

Its dishonest for anyone to vote this way, trying to upset the opposite party. This is why I said ALL primaries should be closed. I also said that not one person, party, or candidate is without fault. I myself have still not decided who I will vote for. But it most certainly won't be for a candidate who thinks my colleagues and I should be fighting for the next 100 years or more. I may just have to vote for everything but POTUS. Same as last time, couldn't support Kerry or Bush!

Andy,
I believe that your wrong. The economy was at an all time high before Sept 11th, and it started its decline right after that, which is before the Democrats took over the House and Senate.

Rich: It is not between Bush and Obama. It is about you and Obama. You claim he is an idiot. So, what degrees have you attained?
As far as Bush is concerned, his blue blood ensured his degrees. Obama, on the other hand, could hardly be characterized as growing up privileged by comparison. He actually worked for his degrees.

Bill— Lose the O3ama went to this school, and O3ama went to that school, and O3ama got all these good grades, and all that rot. Are you an idiot, too? O3ama is an artificial creation of affirmative action. Everything O3ama has was handed to him. You're dealing with a defective product.

Well good, I'm glad Rush found a way to sell more crapola to gullible republics to pay his legal bills. $20 for a t-shirt? Hate sells.
Well hey, welcome aboard. We'll take all the registered Democrats we can get. We'll take all those follow-the-leader folks that sign up because they see the rush (Rush?) to our side too. After, Will Rogers said it best «I'm not a member of any organized political party, I'm a Democrat.» Maybe once you sign up you'll find out what a great party we've got and decide to staty. No matter which one we nominate Mr. McCain ain't got a prayer. Have a nice day and Vote Democratic!

I have a suggestion for all you Democrats on your moral high horses, and for all you insane Bush haters: Be sure to send back your rebate checks next month! After all, the rebate legislation would have never passed without the support of the Republicans in Congress and without President Bush's signature. And you don't want to be hypocrites, right?
For those of you who are morally outraged by the behavior of Republicans generally, just write across the face of the check, «In good conscience I cannot accept this money.» Then return the check to the US Treasury.
For the rabid Bush haters, write across the face of the check, «George—Take this check and shove it!» Instead of returning the check to the US Treasury, send it directly to the White House, and be sure to write on the outside of the envelop, «Secret Service: Do not open!»

Spot, I was actually thinking of using at least part of that money to help a family who is struggling because of all the WONDERFUL things King George had done for them. BTW...if the Democratic Congress wasn't stalemated at every turn by KG's limitless power of veto they would have accomplished many good things by now. It's sad to think that when they want to do something to help people who actually live in THIS country, they are even trying to help the ungrateful jerks that have started this whole foolish campaign in the first place!

Cheryl, KING George? You mean he's a king? Then why TF are we having elections? Long live the King!

«Nearly all liberals have been trained their entire lives to see blacks as continually in need of help.» (Quote from VTO)
WTF??? Actually in all my experience from the time I was a young girl, it's the racist, conservative, self-important, (mainly republician) crowd that believes this. Don't project your sewage onto me or others like me who were raised to believe that ALL people are equal and yes, that includes women, people of other ethnic backgrounds, people with disabilities, people who are of a different sexual orientation than me and believe it or not, sometimes even the occasional republician. From everything I've seen just in our state in the past year or so, I wonder if any of the republician leadership here even owns a mirror?

Cardiac: Good God! Are you actually standing up straight and saying that you wish you could have GW as president again?? If so, you are in the tiniest little stubborn minority of conservatives out there who insist on believing he has been a good president.

Bill,
Count me in that tiniest little stubborn minority! History will be very kind to GWB. He has been a great president.

Bill,
This is exciting isn't it? We have Rush Limbaugh and Howard Dean struggling for control of the Democrat Party and the brain trust of the Democrats insisting that President Bush is a King that is somehow subject to democrat elections! Add to that the idea that lunatics are claiming that an open primary somehow limits conservatives from crossing party lines to vote.
I love politics!
Anybody know when the Paul v. Clinton trial date has been schedule for?
Furthermore, did anybody notice that more people were gunned down in Obama's district than Iraq this month? Do we need an exit strategy from Chicago?

Andy... you are delusional.

Regarding the comments that Cardiac made about more people died in Obama's district than Irag. Where did that information come from? I'd like to see the hard data on that! Please post it!!

Cheryl Hamby said: «ALL people are equal and yes, that includes women, people of other ethnic backgrounds, people with disabilities, people who are of a different sexual orientation…»
Really? What do you mean by that? Like somebody with no legs is equal to somebody with two legs? Please explain.
