The Preseason
I've been avoiding posting about the Primary Season and any of the candidates because I consider it to be like the NFL Preseason where each team is trying to find it's starting Quarterback. This year is different because both teams are trying to find their starter. It's kind of interesting but just isn't quite the regular season.
Hillary will be the Democrat candidate when all is said and done. I don't see the Clinton machine allowing itself to not win. Obama has been very impressive in his demeanor and seems to be a true gentleman. If I were a Democrat, I would probably support him, despite his lack of experience, because he seems to be very genuine and an inspirational leader.
On the Republican side, I see Romney winning the nomination. I support Thompson but am concerned that he's barely showing up on the radar. My concerns with Romney are his positions on Universal Health Care and him flipping on abortion. I'm also conflicted on all the other candidates and am having trouble getting excited about any of them. Regardless, I will vote for and fully support whoever the Republican candidate is. I don't see an inspirational leader on our side and was hoping Fred was the man but haven't seen it yet.
Like I said, it's the preseason and there will be a lot of action and activity before it settles down to be Romney vs. Clinton.
